The Darwin Waterfront project required soffits that are able to retain the natural timber look and feel to promote a relaxing environment, yet withstand the harsh conditions of nearby marine application and is low maintenance. Biowood Architectural Reconstituted Composite Wood Soffits were the product of choice for this project as it met the following requirements:

• Aesthetic natural timber look
• Water resistant – ideal for nearby marine application (Biowood has less than 0.5% water absorption)
• Termite resistant
• Fire resistant (Non-combustible and self-extinguishing)
