Located in Hong Kong’s Sai Yin Pun area, the architect of the new Sun Yat Sen building requested for lightweight wooden facades that needed to be fire-retardant, eco-friendly and low maintenance, while being able to visually compliment the surrounding park area. Biowood reconstituted wood was the solution.

Biowood reconstituted wood is carefully engineered to maintain a minimal carbon footprint. It is made up of 70% reconstituted wood, is 100% recyclable and is PEFC certified. Furthermore, it has all the appearances and aesthetics of natural timber without the undesirable effects such as cracking and splitting.
